Stages of building the Home THAT PUTS PEOPLE BACK ON THEIR FEET
What’s already behind us?
STAGE 1: Property purchase + preparatory work
In the first stage, thanks to donations from our benefactors, we raised 100% of the necessary funds
The scope of stage 1 included:
1. Purchase of real estate – a plot of land with a terraced house standing on it
The purchase was finalised by a notarial deed
2. Preparation of technical documentation
The necessary surveying and geological studies were carried out and architectural designs were prepared. A permit for the renovation and extension of the building was obtained.
3. Construction of a ramp necessary for the execution of construction works
A ramp was constructed from steel obtained from Arcelor Mittal, allowing construction works to be carried out.
4. Construction work
Comprehensive construction work has begun, including:
- concreting the foundations on a section constituting ⅓ of the total length of the reinforcement work,
- removing all plaster,
- demolishing the ceilings in the basements.
5. 5. Development of industry-specific projects
Comprehensive installation designs were developed, including:
- structural design,
water and sewage systems, - central heating,
- electrical installations,
- ventilation and air conditioning.
6. Material support from construction companies
The project received significant material support from industry partners:
- TLC Rental – donation of construction fencing,
- Wienerberger – donation of ceramic construction blocks,
- Arcelor Mittal – donation of steel.
STAGE 2: Creation of places supporting pro-health activities
In the second stage, thanks to the support of donors, volunteers and funding, two important elements of the project were created:
1. Active Hydrogen Studio offering molecular hydrogen inhalations.
- co-financing from the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons (PFRON) and the Social Economy Support Centre (OWES)
- material support from companies:
- King Klinker S.A. – clinker bricks for the façade
- FUH GROMOTKA – wall slats and doors
- voluntary services provided by the following companies:
- Skolbud – renovation and construction works
- MAŁECCY design office – architectural design
2. Therapeutic garden
A garden has been created next to the foundation’s headquarters, providing a relaxation and recreation area for our charges. Therapeutic workshops and physical activities are also held in the garden.

What lies ahead?
STAGE 3: Open shell
In the third stage of the project, we are raising funds to bring the building to a shell condition.
What remains to be done:
1. Securing works and reinforcement of foundations
2. Bricklaying and wall reinforcement
3. Construction of roof trusses and roofing
4. Replacement of ceilings between floors
